Downtown Central Business District
Downtown Vancouver is a very diverse part of the city and is home to three very unique sub communities. Gastown is as original a neighborhood as there is anywhere. It's as old as Canada itself and still has many of its original features including a working steam clock and brick roads. Gastown is a very popular tourist area with many souvenir shops, restaurants, and guided tours. Located a few blocks from Gastown is North America's second largest Chinatown and your source for anything and everything Chinese. Located right next to Chinatown is the International Village a group of Asian supermarkets, restaurants, and theatres positioned very close together. These three neighborhoods as well as the business centre and entertainment district give Downtown its own unique and multi cultural feel.
