West Point Grey
Two of Vancouver's most beautiful and popular beaches reside in Point Grey, Spanish Banks and Locarno Beach. With endless sand and tree logs to rest up against these beaches are a haven for sun tanners, beach volleyball players, wake boarders, and swimmers. Vancouver's largest youth hostel is located adjacent to Locarno Beach, the constant flow of young travelers adds to the energy and fun of the neighborhood. Also found in Point Grey are Vancouver's Museum of Anthropology and the massive Pacific Spirit Regional Park, a 763 hectare forested park that is a favorite for hikers, joggers, mountain bikers, and dog walkers.
