Renfrew-Collingwood

Renfrew is a family oriented working class community in East Vancouver. It is situated on the Vancouver & Burnaby border and rests between Broadway (North) & 41st Ave. (South) and between Nanaimo St. (West) & Boundary Rd. (East). Renfrew has a large business community and is home to many of the cities 'Mega Stores'. As well Renfrew is one of Vancouver's fastest growing residential sectors, with many new developments in and around the Skytrain route.

Renfrew is a very diverse community with more than 50% of the residents speaking English as a second language, the majority of that 50% speaks Chinese as their mother tongue. Being that many young families reside in the area, there is an abundance of schools in the community, as well as community centers and recreational facilities. Tree lined streets and parks are scarce in the community as it is one of Vancouver's more urban districts.
