Greater Vancouver Regional District

Greater Vancouver consists of 18 municipalities in the southwest corner of mainland B.C. including Burnaby, Bowen Island, Coquitlam, Delta, Langley, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and White Rock. The Greater Vancouver Area has a population of just over 2 million people, which is half the population of British Columbia and makes it the third largest metropolitan area in Canada.
